now all we need is the electricity supply to be up to this world class standard,
then some of our SOE like the post office, to actually deliver on time,

and then while we are at it, fix up the mess that is sanral.

then we can actually enjoy 5g reception, without saying yes I have 5g but I live in a shack.
and am Hungry and dont have electricity, or running water.

Oh, spectrum battle again for free, as tomorrow it will be expensive. We will still be charged for transfering bundes...

20 Gbps for everyone! ...with a ludicrous cap, at an insane price...because South Africa.

The lack of goodwill I have towards these companies has me feeling self defeatingly ambivalent on this issue. I know things will improve but at what price?

Competing providers like Rain should get the biggest chunk. Vodacom and MTN have had their chance but they refuse to reuse spectrum used by outdated technologies.

Adequate spectrum is an important resource for mobile operators, and Vodacom CEO Shameel Joosub said it would allow mobile networks to cut mobile data prices in half.
Only half? You're 148 bloody times more expensive than what you should be.

the likelihood of this deadline being met is questionable

Not questionable - non-existent! Not going to happen, not with that new cow in charge, the one that told Vodacom to shush.

Vodacom isn't ready for our new reality: Loadshedding.

During loadshedding my data connection quality is so poor I cannot even transmit/receive 5 Mb.
