South Africa's power lifeline frays as Eskom scrambles for diesel

You take too much profit from a mission critical entity that is on the verge of collapse and you could hasten its collapse.... its not a good long term business model, and even less so for a developmental state owned entity who's goal must be to help develop the country and the economy, when all they are doing at the moment is fscking it even harder for a short term gain.
Read up to "on the verge of collapse", and realized, with all due respect, you are living in a dream world. Eskom has collapsed. There is NO saving it. No 100000000% tariff hike can save it. And some other entity fcking them over like they have fcked over an entire country makes me warm inside. I have a solar system. My sympathy levels are at the same levels as my "fcks given" level. Non-existent.

P.S. I realize too that everything you said in theory is correct. Problem is, this is NOT theory. This is Africa.

So while they are still generating power, Eskom is on the verge of collapse... yes if it was a private entity, it would have collapsed already I get that.

But you saying some other entity fscking them over like they have fscked over the country making you warm inside. You are aware that Eskom themselves didn't fsck over the country, the ANC fscked over Eskom which fscked over the country, and the ANC effectively control PetroSA as well, so the ANC fscked over Eskom, and are now using PetroSA to fsck Eskom over some more.
