So what is being said is that when you encourage non payment , violence and rioting in your community(over many years) , you may find it difficult to get people to pay , not be violent and no rioting in places ....... hmmmmmmm who would have thought that encouraging mass scale bad behaviour could lead to a cultural shift.

I also want to pay R150 a month for unlimited, uninterrupted electricity! Last month was rough with the bill coming to R500.

Don't municipalities give qualifying residents a certain amount of free electricity if they apply for it?

I saw an article showing a large residence in Soweto that was used for a catering business, and they boasted that they pay zero for electricity.

When we Gautengers said we are willing to pay a flat rate of 10c/liter of petrol for e-tolls, it was rejected due to some user-pays 'policy' the ANC promptly plucked from their arse.

Either scrap the user pays principle for e-tolls, or force the user pays principle on Soweto electricity usage.

Our constitution says we are all equal & should not be discriminated against based on skin color, try & act like that for a change, moegoes.

I think it's what they're doing. I don't see Eskom writing off the debt

I still don't know how they even let Soweto run up nearly R20 billion of debt.

I mean sure, I get the fact that this party of abject plonkers has to buy its votes, but fvck me.

I'd like to see pre- Zuma debt debt levels
