SpaceX loses Falcon 9 rocket booster in botched landing

SpaceX on Monday evening successfully launched its latest batch of 60 Starlink satellites into orbit.

In a rare instance by its current track record, however, it lost a rocket booster in the process.

The company’s B1059 Falcon 9 first stage booster missed its intended target for landing – the “Of Course I Still Love You” droneship – and ended up crashing into the Atlantic Ocean.

Seems like SpaceX is struggling to keep it up as of late ;)
Nah, this was rare.

If you're talking about the Super Heavy/Starship failures, according to Musk, that's expected that they go boom, cause they're testing them.

I watched the stream the other day and was laughing at the seagulls on the deck, wondering if some cooked birds were going to be on show. When the seconds ticked by and the birds didn't seem bothered at all, realized the booster must have failed before they announced it.

Anyone know what flight number it was for this one? *edit* nvm see it was 6th
