spam spam spam

once again would just like to thank sentech for distributing my contact details to the whole world.... i never gave out my email address to anyone... yet suddenly im now getting junk mail, and two of them today had attached viruses... me thinks to forward them to sentech

lol, the problem is if one person spams out on one IP address, you will eventually get that ip address and it will be blocked by maps or orbs etc, mweb had a huge problem like that recently.

Huh? That doesn't really explain kbentz's problem .. that would only prevent you from sending mail out from your own SMTP server .. did you reply to the wrong thread perhaps?

Hmmm ... that would explain why one of my own e-mail addresses (that I think I used for sentech sign-up) is also suddenly getting spam, since about last week (after I had managed to keep it off spam lists for years, and no longer even actively use that address!).

Ditch, mail me with your address that is getting spammed, and I can tell you if it was the one on the list.
Alternatively, just check if the mail you recieved from loosecannon came to that address (if you didn't delete his mail immediately)
possibly reply to the spammer and ask him if he got your address from that Sentech list, its probably the worst thing to do, (reply to a spammer), but it could open a another can of worms on sentech.

geez its getting worse.... today a whole bunch more virus infected spam..... thank god i got out of my contract.
