You're fighting a losing battle. Many posters here have dogs on the brain.

Skinning something alive is messed up though, no doubt about it.

But I will never in a million years love a dog as much as my own children. If my house caught fire and I only had time to rush in to save my child or my dog there would be no question the child would be saved. No hesitation at all. Fido best hope he's smart enough to find a way out by himself.

He was trying to keep it alive as long as possible to keep the meat fresh. The Chinese do this same thing in those backwater dumps.

If any parent chooses his dog over his children, there’s other issues at play

So what? He is hungry, saw an injured animal, and proceeded to prepare it.Pretty much what nature does.

More concerned with the comments towards the man in this thread.

3...2..1.. go
While late to this party, most predators actually take some effort to kill their prey at least. That said he could have slit its throat at least. I am not sure I would be able to eat mans best friend, I wonder if the dog would have lived if it acquired medical treatment before Ramsay Bolton got a hold of the dog.

Nope! I know sweet nothing. I'm a retard, that just loves trolling and I have you to keep me company.

I'm sorry for talking things I know absolutely nothing about. I'll never do it again.
The only thing you have ever said that makes any sense.

He was emulating hyenas and wild dogs

Even if he killed it mercifully, put the dog out of it`s misery, it`s a bit reprehensible to chow another person`s pet. But to flay another animal alive is something only a psychopath would do.

If you think the shock of the SPCA is bad just imagine how the dog must feel?

Yeah, don't Chow another person's Chow, that is just gross.

Did you bother to read the article you quoted?
Using a spinal lance to sever the animal's spinal cord and its main blood supply to the brain, the locals begin to cut down the animals.
Anyone who has a special training certificate on slaughtering a pilot whale with the spinal-cord lance can participate.[5] This was not necessary earlier, but because of constant criticism from animal welfare organizations, the Faroese people try to improve the slaughtering methods in order to make them more humane. The Grind law was updated in 2015, where one of the regulations demanded that the whalers followed a course on how to slaughter a pilot whale with the spinal-cord lance.[6] The police and Grindaformenn are allowed to remove people from the grind area.[2] The hunters first surround the pilot whales with a wide semicircle of boats. The boats then drive the pilot whales into a bay or to the bottom of a fjord. Not all bays are certified, and the slaughter will only take place on a certified beach.

It is graphic because of the blood in the water, but from a humanitarian point of view, it is not that much different than an abattoir.

Lol. Trying hard to spin the barbarism, aren't you? Yes, I read the article a year or 2 ago. There was even a thread about it.

Glad you acknowledge the spinal cord lance wasn't necessary until recently.
