Reality Check...
How many base stations will be required for all these HSPA/Mobile Wimax users to get their fast access?
The bandwidth of each base station is shared amongst the attached users?
Given the spectrum limitiations what density of users can be supported vs connection speed? Minimum guarenteed service levels?
What other services operate in an around these bands which will be impacted.
I just feel nervous that the spectrum is being considered as effectively unlimited by the marketing and sales teams of communications providers. It is a very much finite resource, and the service that you will receive is impacted by variables outside of your control.
Still believe that if you need high bandwidth, guarenteed service, connections that a fixed link will always be better - be that copper or fibre...
