Speed in East London area is horrendous - WTH

For a few days the speed in EL has been terrible. I had to load this page a few times before I coud actually access it. Ping to Joburg is 215ms.

Anyone else experiencing it?

I'm also in the EL area and I never had issues with them since I switched.

Yup, progressively worsening signal for about a month or so in my area of Beacon Bay and now terrible speeds and multiple page timeouts despite supposedly excellent signal (according to 8ta Connect app)

Well I live in PTA, and everything is super fast til 18h00 and then it's like using a dailup modem, kinda begging to jeez me off i just switch to them from iburst because of iburst beyond crappy speeds only to end up having worse speeds but paying a lot more for that same worse speeds.

I reckon they should start reimbursing people if they can't deliver a proper service at the moment everyone's just paying and getting nothing in return

I checked my signal strength on my router. It has dropped from 64% to 41% and the router hasn't moved. What gives????

Possibly tower is down and router pick-up different Cell. Can you observe Cell ID?

I concur. Speed is back. Was out at Haga Haga today and amazingly had full hspa signal with decent throughput. My S4 was able to upload all photos that I took to dropbox. very impressed!

I have had erratic speeds over the last 48hrs here in Gonubie East London. Almost unusable.
