speed isuues resolved?

Today I phoned Sentech to find out if they have made any progress
with regards to my ticket number. Apparently it has been sent to
2nd level twice and I have not heard a peep for about a week.

Well the techie said that according to 2nd Level all speed issues are
resolved.

Hmm... so I thought with that kind of attituted I might as well cancel
my contract. So I phoned again and asked if I could cancel my contract
and what is the procedure...

He basicly told me everything I have to do but asked why I wanted to
cancel the contract.

I basicly said to him that its not so much the speed issue... its that I phoned almoost
two weeks ago with a problem... and you guys are failing to acknowledging my problem
and failing to tell me what you are doing to rectify my problem... in short
I am waiting for 2nd level to acknowledge and fix my problem who insist that speed issues
are resolved.

Anyway with all this said... he said that I should email him a beakdown on my speeds
so he can take them to 2nd Level... well I almost fell off my chair.

But it seems no one in the organisation believes there is a speed problem...

I am hoping he can fix my probs... so tonight I will send my speed tests... b

ut funny how when I enquired about cancelling I got a little bit more service and someone
taking owenership... cuz at the end of the day I dont mind teething problems I just want someone
to take ownership which can be hard but makes all the difference.

the alternative is everyone at sentech knows there is a speed problem ... none so blind as those that dont open eyes ...

I also had a speed issue ticket logged. No response for a few weeks after many calls. Strange that when I cancelled on Monday how well they assisted me in terms of what I should do to cancel... some people at helldesk must be getting gatvol....?

aborg: when you cancelled did they give you any cr@p? or did they just do it as requested? Without hesitation?
Cuz my biggest fear is that I cancel the contract and then they try legalities on me and I aint in the mood for that
after all this.

Hell, my gran on a scooter with a memory stick is faster than Sentech's MyWireless!

They didn't give me any crap during the enquiry for cancellation. I sent my fax through... now I am waiting or the finance department to phone me with details and when I must return their modem. Maybe thats were some crap will fly... lets see.

I, for one, AM at help desk.. so..
The problem is that the 2nd level guys have so much **** to do with all these crappy speeds that they take longer to reply to us, which leaves us in the public eye as being "the problem", and we ARE recorded with EVERYTHING we say, so the problem actually lies where Sentech doesn't want to admit that there are problems and we're left here in the dark as what to tell the clientelle, and when we DO tell the clientelle EXACTLY what's happening, either 1.) we get **** from the clients, or 2.)we get **** from the "Big Company Dewds"..

So, someone pls tell me, WHAT THE HELL ARE WE S'POSED TO DO?

Because ME, myself, I ALWAYS try and keep the clientelle happy and I ALWAYS tell them the truth, but the problem with that lies in the recording of all that ****! So we get CRAP..

Somebody help, well, ummmm, "me", or "us" I s'pose..

****, this sounds like a jail comment.. Hahaha

why cant someone from sentech just stand up and say: We are aware of the problem and this is what we are proposing to fix it.

It really is that simple...

No offense to support at sentech... but they really dont play much of a role in the company except that of support and in all honesty I have only had friendly service there. Damn they even phoned me back when they said they would. My problem is their management is either not informing them and they probably finding out about half the issues here... or the upper management are not informing the support management.

Any way... I want to know if there is a fabled "2nd Level" has anyone heard a response from "2nd Level" DO they exist... or is this the area51 of Sentech?

Kochira well well its good to hear that someone HAS AN IDEA of whats hapenning, and most of all IS WILLING to say. Seeing as you have revealed yourself quite suddenly please inform some of us here in the dark at WHY our speeds are so **** and what is being done about it? Hoping that the "Big Company Dewds" dont know who you are, im looking forward to a reply.

okay...

So did I get the expected phone call from 2nd Level today? Nope...

However one of the 1st Level Tech dudes has told me that 2nd Level agree their is an issue with International Bandwidth and now they want proof on a user to user basis... I mean they could just plug in oe of their own freaking modems and do their own speeds tests.

I asked the support guys why they need proof if they admit that their is an issue? He said because some people are phoning and complaining that they are not getting enough when infact they are...

So I am almost at the point where a lot of other people are: Fed up and ready for battle...

Yup I sense another anti Sentech site coming up... maybe its the only way to get to talk to someone with any weight at Sentech as others have proved.
