Speed Jumps {VodaCom k3772-z USB Modem}

hello

i have a K3772-z Modem

i reside in lakeside muizenberg.

in january for the first 2 weeks of 2015 i was testing out Steamcommunity Broadcasting with 8 megabits.

now i have 512 kB/Second Wireless UNLIMITED unshaped Contention Ratio 5:1 and i can watch 1080p Broadcasts with 3500 Kilobits per Second

anyway now all i get is 1 megabit - 4 megabits Endless jumping .........

is there anything i can do to improve 3G/HSPA+ signal ???

i remember seeing a Speedtest done on Vodacom with Microwave wireless spectrum...... what other alternatives can i do that is cheap and effective but reliable?

currently using the latest Vodacom Mobile Broadband desktop software apparently the desktop was updated earlier this month.

i connected the USB dongle into my usb2 of my msi a85XA g65 motherboard

Speeds maximum 4Mbps are typical for this modem. Only in ideal conditions it can reach speed slightly below 6Mbps. Regarding speed jumping and improving signal, you must supply more information: RSSI and Cell ID. Does it changing when it happen? It could be also other cellular users sharing tower.

K3772-Z is not HSPA+ device. HSPA+ modem can bring faster transition from 3G (when idle), faster maximum speed and frequently more stable connection, especially when equipped with receive diversity antenna. In my personal experience Huawei E367 gives more stable connection comparing to the previous generation like K3772-Z and B683 with strong antenna is the best 3G device so far. I suggest to try newer device as well.

"It could be also other cellular users sharing tower" i know towers have like over 200 megabytes and everyone is sharing a tower.
