Sign up with GoogleI have just had ADSL installed at the office. The Telkom speed test shows that it is working OK and some web site are pretty fast.
One website is showing strange behaviour.
Using DU Meter it shows that it loads between 7 and 50kB/s and other international sites I visit between 10 and 120kB/s.
When I try out these sites on my dialup connection, DU Meter shows that the speeds are about the same and infact the slower one on ADSL is a bit faster on dialup.
Are there MTU,RWIN etc. issues at play here? Why on ADSL would some sites be slower than others and the reverse on dialup?
