Sigh. Again, 192km's/h into a steel barrier is n o comparison.
*sigh* ... the point is you are quick to assume the Porsche was speeding, it could as easily have been the Fortuner speeding, or perhaps both of them were speeding along in the 160km/h range

Any of those scenarios could cause the damage in the pics, but for some reason you:
a) assume it must have been the Porsche speeding
b) believe it must have been "extremely high" speed

Some people have no imagination lol. When speeding, your reflexes are less effective, hence head-on collision. It's also possible to survive a head-on collision... Just not when your vehicle looks like that result.

This.

I'm not sure what all this porsche-defensiveness is all about.

I'm not assuming anything. Perhaps read the article before looking rather silly.

"Preliminary reports reveal that a Porsche with no number plates was allegedly speeding when it became involved in a head-on collision with a Toyota Fortuner at around [10pm]," Ntuli said in a statement on Sunday.

appealing to logic and resisting the urge to jump to conclusions is not porsche-defensiveness

personally I could not care less about the brand of car involved, I do care about the truth however, and the fact is none of us know it at this point in time

yeah, rather silly is how you look from where I'm sitting

leaving aside that 125km/h is also "speeding" fyi, the term says nothing about the actual speed, only that is over the legal limit

Read post # 45

For someone who doesn't know the truth, you sure seem to lend to one side of the debate.

I suggest you learn how to apologise when you are wrong.
when that happens I will be quick to do it, in this case you are so wrong, and irrational to boot, there's really no need for anyone else to be apologizing

Physics 101- head on collision will have the same effect if both cars are travelling at 96km/h, in this case cayenne was speeding so we assume 120+ km/h, the damage from the impact will be much higher than showed in the barrier video

Thread now with link:

The burning vehicles outline does not look like a Porsche (not even a Panamera, since it was carrying 4) to me.

Anyway, how was the Porsche in an accident even? It's most designed to travel at high speeds, nè speeding-is-not-a-bad-thing supporters.
A Macan perhaps?

Nope. The steel barrier does not have crumple zones built into it.
