It says that my IP has tested there previously? Damn shared SAIX IP's.

I wonder if i can use this to give Telkom hassles? The previous tests were all 1103Kb/s+....

This is supposed to be a 4 Mb line. How pathethic!

Complaints to Telkom have resulted in a

"This is normal Sir - there is nothing wrong with your line"

is this true international speed on telkom 4mb?

I have found something strange about the 4meg line when downloading internationally. It seems that for most sites there is a limit on each thread at about 512k. Hence I am not surprised by the results shown here. But there is no limit on the number of threads you can open. That is, you can have 8 threads each downloading at 512k to max your 4meg line (of course it won't exactly be 4 meg).

I have seen on occassion a single international thread downloading at 4meg.

Although this is what the test says, i download internationally at 230 kilobytes/s
