Wow, one #3 & no #5s.

My starting XV;

1 - Beast Mtawarira
2 - Adriaan Strauss
3 - Coenie Oosthuizen
4 - Eben Etzebeth
5 - Flip van der Merwe (Only real option here as he has some experience at the position and it terms of youth at the position, he is as close as we can get to a veteran. Bakkies is no #5, has been out of the top level for a while and is prone to the red mist. Also, more than enough physicality without him and with Etzebeth & Vermeulen in the pack, we don't need another aggro magnet.)
6 - Francois Louw
7 - Willem Alberts
8 - Duane Vermeulen
9 - Fourie du Preez
10 - Morne Steyn
11 - Bryan Habana
12 - Jean de Villiers
13 - Jaque Fourie :D (Great to see him back!)
14 - Wllie Le Roux
15 - Zane Kirchner

16 - Bismarck du Plessis
17 - Gurthro Steenkamp
18 - Frans Malherbe
19 - Pieter-Steph du Toit
20 - Siya Kolisi
21 - Ruan Pienaar
22 - Pat Lambie
23 - JJ Englebrecht

Derick Hougaard and Victor Matfield are both back in training for their franchises. Both are apparently hopeful of making it back into the Bok squad for next year...

While we at it, let's bring back Doc Craven, Danie Gerber, Gysie Pienaar and Naas Botha while we at it :wtf:

I see the speculation is that Lambie will play at fullback.

I read an article again where it said JP and Brian will play on the wings with Willie at fullback. I look forward to the actual team announcement.

Same here. I want to see if he is only going to give guys like bakkies a run against the scots or if he is including them in the "front lines". I am also interested to see what HM is going to go with Prop wise, wing wise and flyhalf as well as fullback wise :D

Does anyone know when the team is going to be announced? I keep checking and it's just wasting time. :)

Today late is all I remember reading.

Ah alright, thanks. I guess I'll check again after work. I saw the referees though:
Referee: Alain Rolland (Ireland)
Assistant referees: George Clancy (Ireland), Marius Mitrea (Italy)
Television match official: Eric Gauzins (France)
Assessor: Lyndon Bray (SANZAR)

I don't trust Alain Rolland at all to be honest. Oh well, the team must just be good enough so that the referee can't have an influence on the final score.
