Oh my sack. My nerves!

Brilliant comeback there at the end by the ABs. I think the Irish can be extremely proud of themselves. Mammoth performance by them! Owens was awful, though.

Ireland had it in the bag for 79'30". Why give possession to the ABs with that kick?! And then that 2nd conversion kick. Oy.

Talk about snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

I see Jake White has put his foot down about Lambie and said that he's been messed around and will play no.10 and that's that. Good for him, and about bloody time...

+1

I hate seeing the flak some okes give Lambie about him not having BMT etc. yet what they seem to conveniently forget is that for just about the entire season the poor guys has only been given roughly 10 minutes on field each game so how in the hell is he supposed to build confidence at no. 10 when he's given so little game time in the green and gold?

Fair enough. I hope with the recent moves then that this situation changes and he either reveals some BMT or we accept that we're still stuck at 10.

And agreed on Jake. As much as he is not my favourite coach, he has the vision to commit to this youngster at an important place of departure.

Another atrocious pitch! Makes the scrum a farcical event. What the hell is going on with European pitches?

+1. I would not let a band play on that pitch never mind a rugby team. Extremely poor conditions.

That being said we really did not take a step back come scrum time against the French. Well done Coenie for your first well played tighthead start.

FFS wtf is Pienaar doing?????

I have given up trying to figure out why he is our supposed no 2 scrummie.

Bismarck got yellow carded for leading with his forearm...

When it happened the commentators also asked why the frog was not sent off with a yellow as it was the same offense Bismarck committed.

Flou get sent off again for having rubbish discipline.

This is a bit worrying, as he has shown a lack of discipline in the last couple of games. In a big game if he gets sent off even for 10 minutes it could be disastrous.

Fair enough. I hope with the recent moves then that this situation changes and he either reveals some BMT or we accept that we're still stuck at 10.

I really hope to see Lambie given a good run come next year (he will be based in SA and MS won't). I also really like the idea of White sticking to Lambie at 10 for the Sharks.

Imo, Lambie has really shown that he can deliver the "steady" no 10 game that SA requires, the only thing still under par imo, is his goal kicking.

+1, I do not rate jake as the greatest coach ever but he does know a lot about structures and planning. Also he stuck with Butch James for the WC no 10 spot and Butch was in my eys one of the best SA players in the 2007 WC.

Some of these Northern Hemisphere pitches are beyond pathetic.

Agreed. I also don't know what he's doing there. His decision making is s**t.

This.

It's good to know that Jake plans to solidify Lambie's role in the No. 10 jersey. A good kicking coach will also go a long way.

I truly believe that if HM shows more confidence in Lambie and gives him more time in the 10 Bok jersey next year, that he will surprise a lot of people.

Lambie isn't good enough for international rugby.
He's way too slow thinking. .

...and what, Morne Steyn is the poster boy for fast thinking? :wtf:...or maybe since you seem to be a Stormers/WP supporter you're gonna tell me that EJ is a faster thinker than Lambie?

I reiterate, how can people honestly judge him when he gets a whole 10 minutes per test match?! That's not even a warm up!? It can't be good for his confidence if he knows he's constantly playing second fiddle to MS because of his golden boot.

But didn't he play at 10 for the entire 2013 Super 15?

As I see it I would like to see Lambie as Starter for at least the Super Series and then three of the Rugby championship games.

In my opinion has has in the last two tests that he started really looked like he could be our solution to the no 10 problem.

Also I think this will happen because MS is playing overseas at the moment so come next year he might not start / be available.

I am looking forward to the Babaas game on Saturday.

However I do think it is silly having JdV play yet another game. I guess he did not want to pass up the chance to captain the Babaas.
