We played poorly and we still don't fully understand the "N-Hem" refs.

1) If Jean is not picked we need to get another nr 12

2) We need to send a SA A side on a tour / series of hard games so that they can get up to speed. RP could regain confidence, younger players can become acustomed to the structures and pace of a higher level of rugby.

3) The experiment with John Smit on prop has failed. BJ showed he is the solution we have been looking for together with beast and john/bismarck at hooker.

4) Brussouw is fscking brilliant

5) Schalk and brussouw together with Spies could form a very impressive loose trio.

6) We need to have a player "bank" of 25-30 players so we can rest our top guys like Vic matfield, Juan smith, bismark, Bakkies, etc etc so they are not as injury prone, especially looking at the WC 2011

this is why we need to get rid of the tri-nations, doesn't allow us to grow the player base because we are so busy trying to beat the best in the world and need to use our best players all the time.

This is where I think tours are the answer, we get to take a large squad of players expose them to the way the team operates and get them to play in the colours against opposition that really wants beat them (the club/provincial sides)!
