The crows booing Steyn. Really sick.

Yeah the Boks were way to one dimensional. Plan A didn't work so... well push on with plan A because there was no plan B.
We were determined to hit them with our forwards even though it wasn't working, with their defence brilliant on the day; and when we did send it wide we actually looked like scoring. Bad match IMO,

Ok, so after all my Aplon smack-talk, he played a really good game. Solid defence and read their aerial game super well! Its just a pity we didn't spread the ball quickly enough and let our wings and backs do some serious running. If the forwards aren't making progress, then we just have nothing. Very scary.
If you watched the baby boks and that flyhalf. The damn game revolved around him, unbelievable, he was fully in control....I'm so glad we have some real talent coming through the ranks in that department.
Why boo honestly
kick it away, kick it away, kick it away, no gameplan is why we will lose.
Can't even get anywhere when one of them is off the field, shocking.
I am as pissed off with Steyn as the crowd are right now. Even they are booing him.
Really sick and tired of his sluggish, kick-centric game...
The crows booing Steyn. Really sick.
He deserves it.
Edit: I don't like booing. This guy has cost us a lot of points in the last couple of games. Why did they not select a different kicker though?
lmao! The irony that Morne is going through the same thing that Ruan went through in 2009. Can you imagine if Ruan replaces him.
haha.
Why did they not bring on elton or better yet give plan to kick?
IMHO, Olivier was in the back line, so we shouldn't really be surprised by this. I can't recall 100%, as the match excitement level was right up there with watching the process of dew evaporation, so correct me if I'm making this up, but I think here was an instance when Jean made a break and his centre partner was nowhere to be found and the play died (again) right there at the tackle point. Jacques Fourie, on the other hand, had the ability to "read" the play and was (almost) always there when Jean off loaded in the tackle, as this is one of his (Jean) many strenghts. In Olivier's defence - the two centres haven't played together a lot, so this might improve. I am not a Stormers fan, but I would've rather put de Jongh there. He's much more of an attacking player. The stats speak for themselves: Juan de Jongh - 10 caps, 4 tries; Wynand Olivier - 37 caps, 1 try (also keeping in mind that probably many of the caps were earned during the last 5 - 10 min of a game)
RP he plays both scrummie and flyhalf.Erm you do know RP is a scrummie right... well hopefully they do not try that "Ruan is so good he can even play lock" kqk again.
We miss Johan Goosen!!!!
Steyn was fine in the first two test wrt ball distrb etc etc. His kicking was an utter failure thought.
The problem was in the group there was no one else that could play at flyhalf for the last test. I am sure that if Lambie was fit he would have started or subbed steyn in the flyhalf position after 30 minutes. And no Jantjies was not an option in the last 30mins as he has no real international experience.
Sorry can you please explain how olivier should have "been there" if he was tackled and ofloaded to Jean? 12 -> 13 ....
Olivier had a pathetic game but your comment baffels me.
RP he plays both scrummie and flyhalf.
Even so, I dont rate him as a flyhalf.
Well the boks haven't had a chance to miss him yet...![]()
We'll have to disagree on the former. His ball distribution wasn't great at all in the first two tests either...
Ruan Pienaar could have slotted in at 10, although the problem there is his lack of experience in the bok jersey at 10, not his lack of experience in the position. The goal-kicking duties should have been handed over to Ruan too - that was Jean's call that he didn't make...
A friendly reminder / correction of Jean = 13 and Wynand = 12 would've sufficedGoes to show how much of the game I watched. I apologise to all Wynand fans.
