I found a piece of a regular worm on my salad at Spur once ... thing that really bugged me was where the other half of the worm was ... had it arrived like that? or did I leave with half a creature in me :/

Our lab teacher showed us one of this in biology at school once. They can grow quite long.

And he was eating the ankle (eisbein) . . . People eating properly cooked pork are at no greater risk than those eating any other meat.

Thing is, a normal gp won't be able to pick it up. You need to go to the hospital and lay under one of those big scan machines. You know, like those ones on the sci fi movies, like Stargate. They can pick it up. Could be that the tape worm is now controlling YOU! Now you in denial!

Pork is not one of the cleanest animals around.

Pigs might roll in the mud. But having grown up on a farm I've seen they take better car of themselves that the cows that turn into the beef everyone likes.

They are also a lot smarted than cows. My mother once didn't know that Rhubarb leaves were poisonous and fed it to the pigs.. they ate everything else and shoveled the leaves to one side refusing to eat them
