Nope.. thats why I said shoveled

they pushed everything aside with their nose, like a 3 year old does with his brussel sprouts (not that a 3 year old use thier face, but then again some do)
But the whole thing about pork being unhealthy I think is BS. Its an old story that some people have carried through and still believe. Could be because of some religous implications and its these people who try justify why its unhealthy and then research these causes.
Yes pork can be dangerious.. if your living in the stone ages and eat dirty meat, but so can seafood, beef and anything else really.
Some facts:
Leaner than ever –Recent USDA research reveals that six of the most common cuts of pork are 16% leaner and contain 27% less saturated fat than they did 17 years ago.
Protein power – Women who cut calories but included more protein, including six ounces of lean pork per day, kept more muscle mass while losing weight than women who consumed the same amount of calories but less protein.
Consuming a higher-protein diet also helped retain a sense of satiety or fullness after meals.
Nutrient rich – One serving of pork tenderloin is loaded with vitamins and minerals. It’s an excellent source of many B-vitamins and a good source of other nutrients including phosphorus, zinc and potassium. It’s also naturally low in sodium – only 2% of the Daily Value per serving
As to the worms in pork, I believe its usually due to a parasite called Trichinella (which cooking the food well will destroy.. just as in other foods) The US Center for Disease Control reported that between 1997 and 2001 there was an average of only 12 cases of trichinosis per year reported, BUT i'm sure you will find tape worm infestation from other meats was higher
