RPM, you do know that most people active here seem not to care about the spying going on. Most believe they have nothing to hide and those of us that do recognise the dangers and try to warn people are made out to be fear mongers and crazies.

The joke is over 90% of those people use fake names on this very forum, and very few people ever use real names on online games.

There is something ISPs can do about this, if sufficient information is available on how FinFisher works (e.g. it has a signature that can be detected and blocked).

Yep. LOL! With nothing to hide they should use their real names, and use real photos as avatars so that we can see what they look like. Place of work, an email and physical address, and contact number in the signature will also be nice.

"Asked about the discovery of FinFisher C&C servers in South Africa, the spokesperson for DoC told MyBroadband that it did not buy the spyware suite."

Never rule out semantics here - there are plenty other ways to get the suite, like renting, leasing etc. What would be a better question to ask the DoC to find out if they are using the spyware suite, ruling out any semantics or half-truths in their answer???
