Why declare? Bat until tea. Plenty time left, and there's no way Sri Lanka is going to be able to bat for time at the Wanderers...

Out of depth is the wrong word...He is terribly out of form atm. Not a good time for it either with ab almost 100% back for the NZ tour.

this test might be over today still.

the movement to right handers is insane. add in that we have more pace and control and swing then they do.

declare at lunch, or bat out? or play for 400?

or get our guys out there to abuse the conditions with impending rain?
