Not the Rooster one you're after but a product of Thailand and my brother assures me its the correct Thai sauce and he's spent 20 years in Asia, so who knows...
 
Yes, yes, yes. The creator of that cock sauce is a Chinese-Vietnamese immigrant trying to replicate the sauce he grew up with. ;)

It's the Sriracha (note the capitalisation) which made sriracha (note the lower case) famous. Hence it's the legit one. I'm pretty sure Mrs Balls didn't make the first commercial chutney, but she sure as hell got her recipe right.
 
has Anyone managed to get hold of this sauce the US version. it is brilliant. i did find a version at the china mall here in durban, but dam what a waste of time. the Rooster 1 is best i feel. I used to go through a bottle a week at one stage.

I saw some this weekend at Pick n pay Towers in Boksburg. I didn't see a price. I think it was this one.
