Hey guys i need some advice.
Looking to repaint a project car of mine...its a 98 civic vtec.
the original paint is Single Stage
when i went for quotes at Auto Paint Centre centurion i was quoted roughly R900 for 3l of SS championship white with 3l thinners and hardener.. the base coat clear coat with thiiners and hardener came to a total of R1400
SO my question is...do i stick to single stage ? what is the pros and cons..
i spoke to 3 painters already and its like they dont understand what single stage paint is so how can i trust them to paint it right.. SS needs heavy coats almost to the point of running. they keep mentioning clear coat even after i said many times "no i want to match the original paint"
