Hi, I am probably getting this computer today, but my knowledge of SSDs is pretty limited. Can someone who knows better indicate if this one: Adata XPG ASX6000 LITE NVME M.2 256GB will be suitable for the slot that the laptop has. Thanks.

According to some specs, 256 GB is the maximum size of NVMe M.2 SSD that the Dell 3580 supports - is this a BIOS/UEFI restriction, or is there a way to go larger ?

I bought a core i7 Dell Inspiron 3580 for my wife last week from Makro. I was also worried about this SSD "limit" according to the official Dell website. However if you visit Crucial website, they actually recommend their 512 GB and 1 TB p1 NVMe SSDs as compatible upgrade for Inspiron 3580.

So I bought a Hikvision 512 GB NVMe SSD and installed it, and the Dell laptop can utilize the full 512 GB.
