My company's genny been singing that song for last week and a half..... cable theft.

Sorry Eskom but even with the cooler weather today I still need to run the aircon tonight and batteries are being kept for load shedding.

Only managed to generate 24kwh for today.

Ours went off sharply at 4pm this afternoon, as scheduled.

But not directly controlled by Eskom, so after all these years the locals have presumably had enough practice getting it right.

Load Shedding was from 2am. I woke up because some idiot thought he/she needs power, therefore was running their generator.
