I was off 6 hours yesterday already today they seem to want to make it longer as we're at 4 and a half so far + we have a 2pm session coming.

Thank **** we have some PV and new LFP batteries We are heading to winter which makes the PV less effective but I am still glad that we have and don't have to rely solely on City Power.

Solar people installed some batteries fed from Eskom but didn't put panels up? She hasn't got a clue when their power is off because the batteries kick in automatically.

Our power went off Monday night and its still not back. Thank goodness we have some sunlight today in durban. Batteries been charged up nicely today

Sounds like a battery backup. Grid charges the battery when it's back online.

I knew the power hadn't come back this morning when I woke up to the sound of Africa from my neighbours running their generators...
