But they can get access to the people who work at said key points.

Instead the only journalism that gets done is these pseudo-philosophy article garbage that passes for "great" journalism now.

Where's the investigative journalists.
Do you pay for news?

I wonder how that worked. Did we have a higher stage each time they shed because they needed to exclude KZN areas affected by the floods or are they just talking **** on the stage of load shedding needed?
I’m not sure. I would think so though. I remember reading that KZN pulls around 1gw(poor memory so this could be wrong lol) or so. So yeah KZN contributes to roughly a stage or so

Well remember stage 4 takes of 4GW from the entire country, so that would be 4GW divided by 9 provinces, so we only need roughly 400Mw or so from each province.

Yeah true. But our industrial areas here are still exempt from any loadshedding only residential and commercial areas get loadshed in KZN. So if you live near an industrial area, you are still exempt :D

Yes and no. Still awaiting on some new stock plus plenty and I mean plenty of people reach out for a full inverter system we build, get the quote and never to be heard from again.
Have you done follow-up on why? Quote fishing or just too expensive?

Our area has been pretty bad for load shedding over the past 2 years. Lots of unplanned outages, and power going off for load shedding and then not returning when it should. However over the last week we have not been load shed once. Somehow for the first time in 12 years they seem to have somehow disconnected us from the schedule. Hope none of my neighbours are stupid enough to report that!
