So if ebucks wasnt in the picture would u still be with fnb? Im more into lesser fees and good service (personal and via app/internet banking)

Yes. Their internet banking just works especially when you start using their share platform etc. Only other banks I might consider is Nedbank and Capitec (capitec is very good money for value but they do seem to cater for the people with less income)

eBucks almost covers my bank charges at FNB though and I put no special effort into it (only on level 3 though)

Simple my friend very simple. Very few know this. I work for a bank. The cost of a debit card is charged transactionally on the merchant machine you use to swipe at a lower rate than credit cards. Ie more expnsive to the merchant machine holder to enable you to use a credit card. You also earn less ebucks for a simple fact that most people use their debit cards on their purchases. You are a minority in terms of usage and the ebucks rewards the numbers not the mechanics of how. Sorry if it sounded abrasive. Use your debit card more,
Quote a bit of effort :(

Still don't understand why they discriminate against me for using my CC instead of debit card. It is paid in full every month but. I earn less eBucks because of it.

Use your debit card more,

No.

Cheque account has debit orders against them and even though you tell the ****ers that debit orders should be done by the 1st of the Month (latest) you still have some of them processing on the 9th or 10th of the month. **** that - I have self control and will use that credit card. Just so much more convenient.
