Just thought I would start this thread to give honest feedback on Standard Bank Insurance.
The process of taking out the policy was easy and was done in 15 minutes. They had the most reasonable quote from everyone I contacted and I liked being with one of the bigger insurers. After the call, it was off to a PG glass for 15 minute's while they took pictures of the car and sent it off to Standard Bank.
All in all, very efficient and professional and digital which made it very user friendly.
Unfortunately, a week ago, someone did not see a stop sign and smashed into me. So after a few months with a new insurance, I have to claim.
The incident was reported the the insurer 1 day after the incident and again, it was one call and very professional.
Within 5 minutes, an assessment centre contacted me and set up an appointment to view the vehicle on the same day.
2 business days after that, I received an email from the assessment centre with a quote. The quote was also sent to Standard Bank for moderation.
This brings us up to today where it has been with standard bank for 4 working days.
I will update this thread as I go on through the process.
