Standard Bank OTP Not Working?

Tried to buy airtime via the Standard Bank website. All works fine until it sends me a OTP, which never arrives. Anybody else have this problem?

I'm with Vodacom and had several instances where OTP took forever to come through.
Changed it to come to an email account not linked to my phone.
Now even if my phone is stolen/sim ported they can't intercept the OTP

I don't see an option to change my OTP delivery, and even if I could, I think they will send me a OTP before changing it?

I had the problem previously, with the OTP via sms.
Check your blocked numbers on your phone. I blocked some numbers sending spam sms's, by unblocking them it turned out one of them was linked to the OTP

I don't block any numbers, so I'm sure the problem must be on their side. I do get the SMS that says I logged in, but no OTP.

Your best bet would be to go to a branch and change your OTP delivery to e-mail

Just tried to transact for you - not getting OTP via email either so would seem like there is an issue at SB side.

Just gave it a try myself, it does seem to be a problem from SB's side

Took half an hour for my OTP from SB to arrive. Just got it.

Same,takes 30min to get otp via SMS.Email is instant.Which network are you on?

OTP SMS took about 30secs on Saturday (MTN) but SB usually make system changes on Sundays so things may have changed.

I'm getting the OTP quite quickly, only problem is that the one I get isn't accepted by the system!

Had issues on Saturday with OTP on email. Had to request twice before I got it. Came through immediately on the second request. The first request on got delivered a couple of hours later.

This has become a regular niggle with SB, particularly after 7pm.
Their internet banking very rarely seems to work at night and the SMS OTP issue when purchasing is becoming worse. I've had 3-4 instances during last week where this happened, mostly after hours, and there is nothing you can do but wait for OTP which is normally received way after the expiry time...

I've also tried changing to e-mail OTP, but for some reason M-web mail is also very much delayed, so the screen usually times out before M-web deliver the mail... thinking of changing my bank profile to my gmail e-mail as these are received within a few seconds.
