Standard Bank web and app banking downtime - 12 February 2023

Again...ouch. at least it's not at month end
 
Maybe someone at Standard Bank can communicate transparently for once and install some confidence. It always seems from their statements that they have no clue what they are doing. Its a reasonable assumption to default to they have been hacked or whatever other assumptions you make. Here is some help:

It is now month end. I don't login often, but every time I have logged in this month( only on browser,I don't have phone app) I had to put in OTP ,and then an existing card number and its PIN. I called my business banker, they said there was a change in the apps that they are working on. I still think there was a breach, or maybe the LastPass breach is being used by some and it's trying to break in to STD bank's accounts? I am going to call business banker again.
