Stands and Backdrops

Hi There

Does anyone know where I can buy affordable backdrop stand and backdrops which I can use to build a home photographic studio. Looking for a black and a white backdrop.

What material do you advise for the backdrops i.e. material or vinyl etc.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm also looking at putting up a backdrop. There's a place near me - CameraWorld - that sells a portable backdrop stand (in a carry bag) for R1,250. It looks fairly sturdy. It expands to 3mx3m.

Ja, saw that before, but not on Strobist I don't think. Almost went and made some then realised I'd have to buy stuff to attach to them..

I made a load of them in different sizes and they're worth the effort.
