That's the one, don't know why it's not S00E01 though.
In general Episode notation Specials are marked in order regardless of season as S0exx
This is technically not the 1st special episode, even though it's the latest
S00e01 was Michelle Yeoh And Alan Van Sprang's Section 31 Bonus Scene 03/18/2018

Not sure how I feel about the season 2 trailer. Captain looks like a stand in and spock looks like a werewolf!

I haven't really watched the show yet but they somehow by the looks of it turned the Socialist Utopian society that is the Star Trek universe and made them look more like Nazis

The Georgiou character/story feels forced. Don't get how they still drag her character out. Almost seems that one of the writers must like Georgiou, they trying their best not to write her out of the story.
Now I see there is a Star Trek Georgiou spin-off also coming, soon. Like that dead horse saying.

I think the spin off could actually be cool, a bit of a spy thriller in the Federation universe...

She was a gripe for me in season 1. Can't take her seriously and her acting is way off. From the trailers it looks like she's joined section 31

Enjoyed the episode, was straight out of the old Star Treks. So glad someone didn't show up as it would've been a disaster (hard to stay spoiler free). My biggest problem remains, none of the characters are well fleshed out (barring Michael) and none are interesting. Wish they'd spend some of the cgi budget on decent acting.

Dont know on the characters, I think the casting of Anson Mount as the young Captain Pike wasnt bad as he resembles a younger Bruce Geenwood (Admiral Pike) from the Star Trek movies quite a bit.
