A "Classroom Video" which contains a hell of a lot of information about Cosmology, focusing on starlight. Now people can get to know about Cosmology without looking through lots of books. It's a fairly short watch but crammed full of information!

Edit: There is a reference made to Stardust. This was also mentioned in the 2007 feature film Sunshine. If you have not seen it then I highly suggest you do.

Has anyone seen the movie Stardust? I have not yet. Is it worth getting? :)

Stardust is a fantasy film based on the novel by Neil Gaiman with a star studded cast.

Worth watching, but not I think what you're looking for.

Sciencedaily.com is an awesome site if you're into Cosmology and Space. It has all the latest stuff astrophysicists and cosmologists are working on. It makes for good late night reading.

Nice, I recently compiled a The Sun.pdf for personal use with focus on our star, the sun and it's place in the galaxy.

The galactic year, also known as a cosmic year :)

is the duration of time required
for the solar system
to orbit once around the center of the Milky Way galaxy.
