Starlink goes live in Zim

SpaceX's fast and uncapped satellite Internet service Starlink has officially launched in Zimbabwe.

South Africa's northern neighbour is the 14th African country to get the service, with the most recent other additions being Botswana, South Sudan, and Sierra Leone.

Its worse than that bee , I read that the govt here wants 30% kickback.. Thats the problem.. And musk must not cave in to the SA mafia.

You really think he gives a $h!t if it goes live in SA? Handing over 30% might seem like nothing in the long run but the entire situation reaks of entitlement as if they're doing Starlink a favour. They must keep going with this kak mentality, people will eventually find a way around it.

Lekker BEE here.
I don't think its BEE. I think BEE is one of many spanners they're planning to throw.

Starlink is a risk to the likes of MTN, Vodacom, Cell-C etc and they all cozy up to cadres. Doesn't take much money to bribe a few to throw in spanners... we know corruption is rife.
