StarSat leaves business rescue, but troubles not over

I don't know anybody using Stars at anymore, but it looks like they're somehow making money. Just hope they increase the quality of their offering now.

According to the article they're not. The rescue was band aid for a hemorrhage.

With Showmax and Netflix coming out guns blazing it only worsens their ability to recruit subscribers.

Won't be around for much longer.

It's a pity I really wanted them to succeed.
 
They should not just end programs and change things as they please without notification...this is not china !
What happened to Movies+2 channel?
There was also another nature/documentary channel that disappeared.
If they continue this nonsense, people will go Netflix etc

Not really.

THey struggle in SA, sure and some of that struggle is due to their own **** but in the rest of Africa they are actually giving Nochoice a run for their money with over 7 million subs, last time i check. In Nigeria alone they currently have more subs that dstv.

Agreed. That's why i love dstv, they always consult us when they end programs and change things.
 
Starsat has Fox News . Hottest news anchors and not the same old BS as the other news stations

Why yes, here in China, they keep adding channels*, its all in HD, and the prices keep dropping.
Damn China.

*All in Chinese though.
