So far I like the new HD decoder's EPG. Under channel management you can delete all the channels you will never watch. If you ever want them back you only reset the decoder.

I only need to figure out how you scroll through the EPG without changing the channel you are currently watching.

Hello, I exchanged my TopTV card for the Starsat decoder a couple of weeks ago and I was just wondering if you've found a way to scroll through the channels yet without actually changing the channel you're currently watching. I find it highly irritating that the channel displayed in the preview window follows the scroll buttons, because not only is it impossible to watch something moderately interesting in the preview window while browsing for something really interesting, but the "return to previous channel" button is also made redundant for all intents and purposes, if you don't know and type in the channel numbers and switch channels without scrolling, of course, because it will return you to the latest channel on which you might have lingered long enough for the image to load and not to the latest one that you might have actually been watching before scrolling!

The one thing I do like about the Starsat decoder is that it switches to a booked programme automatically instead of merely reminding you of it at the starting time, but the window period for cancelling the reminder is too short imo.

Unfortunately not. Got used to the fact that it cannot be done.

HOW CAN ICASA STILL ALLOW sTARsAT TO OPERATE IN SOUTH AFRICA if their service is absolutely poor/non existant ????

I only now became aware of the PVR decoder. I see it was launched earlier this year (May I think).

Please give feedback if you are using one.

Thanks!
