I do not understand your question.
But the cheapest package is R99 per month.
That does include SABC and eTV.

My brother has compact and I have the Top TV package at R219 (with movies, but excluding kids) and Top TV is clearly a better option: more recent movies, tv shows, etc. But if you've had dstv for a while then you've seen most of the shows, but I can finally catch up with Lost and Brothers and Sisters and Stargate, etc which is great for those of us who have never had DSTV.

I'm sure you meant that the other way. I think toptv is great for enjoying some old shows. My in-laws have toptv and can't wait to see some old simpsons & family guy.

DSTV has an option to subscribe to SABC / ETV for the whole year for around R200 / year. Was wondering if TOP TV had something similar. It's for our "Environmental Manager". He has very poor reception at home.

Is there life at TopTV?

The answer is "YES!"

I sent an e-mail to Melinda Connor [mconnor@toptv.co.za] and what a quick and pleasant response I received back. Things sorted in a flash, then about a week later an e-mail asking ASKING if I was sorted & happy.
WOW.
They don't pay her enough - this world class quality response and SOOOO different from what I had from them up to now.

Also not 100% sure of your query - etv and SABC are free to air channels, so in essence you should only be paying your annual TV licence fee to view these channels. I'm a little bit of a technophobe but can get a better explanation from the technical team at TopTV for you, but TopTV seems to have a better signal in 'remoter' areas. The Variety package, which includes SABC1, 2, 3 and etv is R99 a month

More like 2018 - they signed 10 year deals for most major sports two years ago.

Judging from the amount of inquiries we receive about this subject, I decided to do a channel for channel comparison (to the best of my ability).

The following pages are completed and ready for viewing:
1) DStv R99 p/m vd Top TV R99 pm at http://bit.ly/hZUnDl
2) DStv R148 p/m vs Top TV R159 p/m at http://bit.ly/gZUrjs
3) DStv R220 p/m vs Top TV R219 p/m at http://bit.ly/en7lAm

At least now you should be in a better position to compare apples with apples...

Regards, H

PLEASE NOTE: The Indian Bouquet (4 channels) is no longer included in these TT packages - it is R60 extra.
