Former ANC MP and state capture whistleblower Vytjie Mentor has died.

ActionSA confirmed on Tuesday that Mentor had died following a long illness.

Mentor will be remembered as a state capture whistleblower who claimed in 2016 that Ajay Gupta offered her a ministerial post. She resigned from the ANC in 2019 to join the ACDP.

She has been a member of ActionSA since the party’s founding in 2020.

Even before she passed away. She did a good job of exposing the shenanigans within the ANC but she was discredited at some point and had no evidence to her allegations other than claims of her presence. I applaud her bravery. I bet she would have been offed if she lived in the provinces I shall refrain from mentioning.
