Quite.

Far too much concentrating on dividing up profits, ownership shares and board positions; absolutely no focus on doing anything which will benefit the country, local businesses or people.

Very frustrating.

Most certainly true and more proof that government policy is stifling development and the growth of the economy as a whole.
Absurd.

The minister of communications, Ivy Matsepe-Casaburri, is expected to issue guidelines for infrastructure network services, including undersea cables, as required by chapter 4 of the Electronic Communications Act.

This is the ball-breaker folks. Make or break.

Why don't government not just nationalize everything? They have their greedy little paws, in everything, in any case. If you want to make money, go into business, don't ruin business from governments side.

And it's such a mystery why SA is so far behind the world in just about everything...

You'll probably be able to get cheaper faster internet in Zim in a few years [if you exclude the no food situation]

The only word to describe this is pathetic, not surprising though, then they wonder why the private sector won't get it done as Erwin The Bolt is so fond of saying. Just more proof that this country's government is inherently Marxist and corrupt.
