Sure... I believe you... and the rest of them? 2030? Longer? They were meant to start being 'fully commissioned' early 2011 and all units fully operational by end 2011, when is this 'project' going to be completed?
 
No, according to the ANC, the purpose of a SOE is to channel taxpayer money into undeserving, politically connected pockets.
 
Of course, a good way to get rid of profits is to pay outsized salaries and bonus and inflated tender prices.
 
At the cpre he is correct. The government should take on projects in which the public benefit exceeds the public cost, but the private benefit is less than the private cost.

Government can do all the work that business feels will not make them enough money.
