See, the problem is that you just assume there's no black person child who got the same or better marks than your child, isn't that just wonderful?

It's not about the marks. It's about being treated equally. He was told his marks don't matter - The reason for his rejection is that he was not demographically representative of the country, which means he was rejected purely because he was white. No other reason. And I can guarantee the black kid who got his place in the SANDF doesn't have what my son now has. Better marks or not. He's happy they rejected him.

My son and daughter are also no longer South Africans. What loyalty do they owe to a country that treats them as second class citizens?
Having applied for NZ visas, if we get it will mark as one of the greatest boons I will leave my kids.
To move away from your country is difficult - culture, friends family, etc.

I hope to raise them as NZ'ers where they can flourish in a positive community that builds together to a great future.

I didn't, the fact that his child wasn't accepted because they are white has absolutely no bearing on the marks on those who were accepted.
If other candidates had better marks, they would have rejected him based on marks. The fact that they had to reject him based on race means he most likely had better marks than the other candidates. Disagree?
