So I've literally just downloaded and bought an old game I used to play - Police Quest. The original was late 80s with a few beeps and noises from the in built speaker. Police Quest 3 has was probably mid 90s and NEEDS sound - but there seems to be no sound ?

A setting I need ?

The solution is uninstalling steam and installing gog galaxy.

You joke!

I'll probably get Kings Quest and Heros Quest ;)

The awesomeness of those games back in the day was that you couldn't just google a solution. You could literally get stuck on a problem for ages.

Also put monkey island on your list!

I remember drawing maps for KQ2, also where the NPC's would spawn etc.. I couldn't save my game so had to do a full run through without dying... those darn twisty stairs
although I thank those games for teaching me to touch type pretty fast
