Yes it is possible, but the rand can weaken quickly if we have a risk-off event.

Long term the rand will probably weaken against the USD.

In my view yes(depending on your time horizon) , but that is a contrarian view.

Most people believe the dollar will weaken because of all the "money printing"

I'm thinking of buying shares in US companies. It would pose a risk if the Dollar falls to far. :(

It would yes, but I don't see that happening.

I have actually bought long term US government bonds.

Also wondering what stock I should pick for the next 6 months (only short term). 3rd wave will hit so wondering if I shouldn't go offshore. EOH seems to have turned things around and maybe some ACL with the steel shortage
