What in heavens name is happening with international funds?

Dropping like bricks

Look at s&p500

yeah my portfolio is shooting at the moment- the dirty phrase you are looking for is concerns over the effects of inflation

fun times

inflation the focus as the market now looks to CPI numbers coming out later today

I expect a massive sell off if the numbers are higher than expectations

Carlo Dossiand Michael Burry (before he vanished) are both good sources that predicted months ago many of the troubles that are now hitting Tesla and Ark now.

with a (forward) PE of well over 1000 it was pretty obvious Tesla was risky, and things didn't get better when they unilaterally decided to become an asset management company as well

yeah no the markets don't care

they used to care in the 90s, but its so common they just move on with life, there is no substantive impact

for example the recent movement in oil is mostly due to a hack in the US
Oil issue in US, this fighting, inflation talk, wonder if the conditions are right for a bit of a pop

it was interesting to see Tesla down 6,6% pre market then only close down 1.88% yesterday, similar with ARKK. Something big is happening under the surface

its why I am so hesitant to touch it, it could easily go to $2000 before dropping to $100

Extremely unlikely, $2 000 would give them a market cap of around $1,6T Similar to Amazon earning 12,6B when Tesla barely scrapes in earning $1,9B by selling bitcoin offset subsidies etc. The bigger the market cap the less likely it is to double market cap in a year.

I think Tesla hit the ceiling when they bought Bitcoin a while ago and now its just a question of the steepness of the fall

the point I was trying to convey is that Tesla's price is not a function of orthodox fundamentals, its all a meme
