Some decent picks there I think. My post was a dig at the $T selection, which has turned out to be a lemon.
Yeah no, I dropped all my T shares in March when rumors started inside the company about the upcoming dividend drops. T has been good for me the past decade, especially in terms of Dividend income. But, you are right a mess is coming for the company. By the way, there was still a bit of money to be made up to beginning June, and there are at least 2 more upcoming dividend payments, but I suspect some bigger drops in price incoming too.
So yesterday we got a teaser of what would happen if the FED raised rates
their dot plot suggested two minor 25 basis point increases in 2023 and the market immediately started falling
now imagine what would happen if the FED actually raised rates
Yikes - gettng hit very hard on my US account - have mostly Real Estate/Energy/Basic Materials stocks - down 2.75% so far today...
US markets bleeding. I suspect that this may be the start of the big decline. Things do not look good in terms of investing in the US for at least the next 4 years.
Busy dumping all my portfolios as well. Taking profits where I still can.
Evidently didn't look at the EU markets today.
By the way, I suspect that the US markets will now be in a gradual long-term decline, very much like the JSE experienced the past 20 years.
What are you doing involving factsThe jse index more than doubled over the last twenty years
