After you converted into USD, did it take less than 9 years or more than 9 years? What will happen if you convert it to Riyals? Would it take more than 9 years or less?

In USD terms like saturnz said, it has taken ~20 years to double.

Point of the exercise is to demonstrate how exchange rates affect our wealth. Since July 1st 2011 compared to today, we are 20% poorer in USD terms and that does not take inflation into account.

Sho. Should have said Coronation resources. Did companies like anglo, glencore, northam experience big drop last month? My balance yesterday is almost 8% less than last month. I know this is not huge for many of you but haven't noticed it for this particular fund yet. But maybe it is time for this one to drop.

Coronation resources has Anglo, glencore and northam platinum as its top 3 and it seems Anglo is dragging it down..

Taken a bit of a hiding for them month of June, wasn't over m portfolio much but resource shares burnt me. Any thoughts or picks for May - lets hear em...

Not sure but I am almost certain the lockdown of 14 days will be extended so maybe shorting any hospitality or restaurant shares will help (City Lodge, Famous Brands, Sun International etc)
