well this morning has been lots of fun, I suppose I have Yellen's antics on Friday to thank for that

so all eyes are on the FED now that the issue of inflation has been settled, any signs of a more hawkish tone will probably see markets spiraling down fast

Anyone think Arcelor-Mittal will continue its upward trajectory? I'm so pissed off I missed out on the earlier action!
If that trading update is anything to go on, then a definite YES. If they keep that sort of figures for the FY then you looking at a PE of less than 1.5 at current price. The results are out on Thursday, so it would be interesting to see what they say and how the market reacts.

okay so the FED interest rate decision is Wednesday evening

obviously they will not increase rates, so this should be good for commodities across the board

inflation fears may increase though as a result of the FED doing nothing, and this may make the equity market nervous

Yeah flip Naspers taking a pounding. Think China banned online tutoring and Naspers is heavily invested in online learning
Maybe time to apply the 3 day rule?

In short, the 3-day rule dictates that following a substantial drop in a stock’s share price — typically high single digits or more in terms of percent change — traders should wait 3 days to buy.

Agreed it is the lowest Naspers / Prosus has been in a year. If you are looking really short term not sure if its a good buy but medium to long term now is a great entry point

well commodities climbed a little as expected but I did not think equities would stall with the FED announcement

jobless claims may drag things lower if higher than expected
