They bought some US mine or something. There was an article on News24 this morning.

JOHANNESBURG – South African miner Sibanye Gold plans to tap shareholders for about $1 billion to partly fund a takeover of US-based Stillwater Mining Co, it said on Tuesday, a day after the deal secured a US regulatory approval.

but the mine is the sole producer in the states for those minerals. or did i read it incorrectly. isn't it a good thing?
