That blows to be honest. I hate promotions like these. Don't have an issue with attracting new customers, but what's in it for existing customers?

As far is a i know it won't be part of the Top 40 yet or indexes until it has at least 5% SA shareholdership

I have quite a bit of money with them, so it would be nice if us loyal customers also got something.

In all likelihood it ill form part of the top 40 after the JSE has their top 40 review in March. Which probably means a lot of buying / selling with index trackers - which isn't great news for dividends, but such is life.

Can someone help me as to why it's been doing so well during a stock market slump? You'd expect high P/E stocks to be first on anybody's sell lists during high uncertainty.
Almost my entire portfolio is.
On average, I'm down almost 7%.
Only 1 company showing a tiny profit.

Signed up the SO on day 2. Day 1 60 people signed up. If 1000 people sign up each will get R100 into their EE account. That's how I understand things. If only 200 people sign up, R500 each.

Impressive Coasti! Any reason for you exiting that position now? The graph looks to be heading steadily upwards with no sign of a reversal. I reckon I'm going to get myself a piece of that on Monday
I have been too greedy in the past trying to call a top and then waited too long, today I just felt like banking a reasonable profit and walk away. My feeling is that this rally was too aggressive as often happens on a Friday afternoon after such a week and that it might fall back on Monday, but who knows.
What makes you think it's at its highest? What about the next 12 months?
